As they progress from page to screen, new film projects benefit significantly from the time, the space, the actors and, most importantly, the multiple fresh perspectives afforded by a professionally-organised script-workshopping session. ACA is committed to partnering with producers and directors in this crucial stage of development by supporting 10 new film projects across the next 12-month period.
Beginning in July 2017, ACA has committed a fund of $50,000, to be offered to 10 Australian producers and/or directors in the form of a creative development day dedicated to their script.
Successful applicants will be invited to join the ACA Alliance – an exciting new initiative designed to promote and develop new Australian movies.
Take advantage of this rare and beneficial opportunity to sit back and more objectively assess your script, as it is interpreted and brought to life before you.
Dean Carey and ACA Chairman, David Chiem, have committed these funds as a way of supporting new projects and creating a new interface between ACA and active members of the film industry.
In return for this valuable opportunity, 2017 ACA Alliance Members are simply asked to:
Meet Dean Carey and David Chiem
