Lyn Pierse graduated NIDA and has since appeared on stage, film, radio and television in productions such as, Berkhoff's 'Greek', 'Measure For Measure', 'The Women Of Lockerbie', as Pam Coughlan on the SBS series, 'Going Home' and as Sister Mary Leonard.
She has 25 years of teaching experience and currently teaches at NIDA and Actors Centre Austrlia in their full time courses, standup comedy for the Actors Centre and in the Power of Performance programme. Lyns teaching has ranged from HSC students through to corporate training.
She pioneered Theatresports® training in Australia, New Zealand and Japan. She captained the first Theatresports® national team and has staged Theatresports® at Expo, the Adelaide Festival, Belvoir Street Theatre, the Sydney Opera House, the Enmore Theatre and in Tokyo and Auckland. Lyn has implemented improvisation programs at primary, secondary and tertiary level, including Macquarie University, Sophia University Tokyo, UNESCO Chair Romania, EORA Tafe and schools and universities across the country. She has staged the Cranston Cup, Celebrity Theatresports®, Rediculous for SIDS and the Virgin Comics.
Lyn is also the author of, 'Improvisation: The Guide.
