ALISTAIR TOOGOOD

Al graduated from the WAAPA Music Theatre BA in 1999, and in 2004 he completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Voice Studies at NIDA. He works at the Actor's Centre as a voice and accent teacher. His teaching credits include the Course Supervisor for the Music Theatre course at the Actor's College of Theatre and Television (ACTT) also at  AADA (AIM), The Actor's Pulse, Shopfront and Ensemble.  Al is resident voice coach for Maelstrom Productions, working on Griffin Stablemates seasons of Tiger Country and A Moment on the Lips.

His performance credits include the musicals Chang & Eng (Action Th. - Singapore), Las Vegas (Vanish Ent.), Quambatook (John Williamson), and the role of Freddie Mercury in We Are The Champions: The Ultimate Queen Tribute Show which he produced and worked on for three years. Al also directed Rhinoceros for St Catherine's College French/Drama Project, and as a fight director worked on Twelfth Night (Vinyard Entertainment), and the short film Darklands.
