LYN PIERSE

Lyn Pierse graduated NIDA and has since appeared on stage, film, radio and television in productions such as, Berkhoff's 'Greek', 'Measure For Measure',  'The Women Of Lockerbie',  as Pam Coughlan on the SBS series, 'Going Home' and as Sister Mary Leonard.

She pioneered Theatresports® training in Australia, New Zealand and Japan. She captained the first Theatresports® national team and has staged Theatresports® at Expo, the Adelaide Festival, Belvoir Street Theatre, the Sydney Opera House, the Enmore Theatre and in Tokyo and Auckland.  Lyn has implemented improvisation programs at primary, secondary and tertiary level, including Macquarie University, Sophia University Tokyo, UNESCO Chair Romania, EORA Tafe and schools and universities across the country. She teaches improvisation at NIDA, standup comedy for the Actors Centre and has staged the Cranston Cup, Celebrity Theatresports®, Rediculous for SIDS and the  Virgin Comics. She is the author of, 'Improvisation: The Guide.'
