Sam Haft

Sam grew up in London and emigrated to Australia in 1998. He graduated from NIDA in 2002. Sam has taught in a number of institutes including Actors Centre Australia in both the full time and Power of Performance courses. He has also taught for the NIDA open programme and with the Opera Students and the Conservatorium of Music. 

He has appeared in Stained (The Darlinghurst Theatre), The 24 Hour Play Project (Downstairs Belvoir), What The Butler Saw (Company B),  The Homecoming (BSharp),  The Birthday Party (BSharp), Black Milk (BSharp)  Sleeping Around  (Downstairs Belvoir),  Broken Dreams (Griffin), To The Green Fields Beyond (Tamarama Rock Surfers and BITE Revival), The Hothouse (Shaft Productions) The Pugilist Specialist (Darlinghurst Theatre), Return To Sender, Road Rage and Duals:A Triptych (S and S), The Fabulous Punch & Judy Show (Café Debris), Poster Girl (Tamarama Rock Surfers/Platform 19), Pool (no water) (Darlinghurst Theatre), Hamlet  (Harlos Productions), Bent (BSharp) and as the voice of Audrey 2 in Little Shop of Horrors (New Theatre).

For Alchemy Theatre Company, of which he was a founding member, he appeared in Romeo and Juliet, Some Voices and The Pull of Negative Gravity. Film and TV work includes 110% Tony Squires, The Cut, Out Of The Blue, Underbelly 2, The First Australians and the feature films Bitter And Twisted and The Bet.
